The potential downfall of the corporations who take on “Mother Nature” for their own ends

Their lack of understanding
of the plant world
and the true survival aspect
that exists
soil erosion,isn’t a solution
in Natures eyes
so its magic, it enlists

an equilibrium maintains
the system
and a visionary principle
creates
a continuance and a
permanence of spirit
into perpetuity
our fates
this is how the children
are protected
the earth does not
associate with greed
Monsanto has created
an imbalance
but its products
do unquestionably succeed

its strength born
out of some manipulation
power it has a great deal of it
and
its coffers might be loaded
with the dollars
but its balance sheet
most cannot understand

its visionary principle
apparently
puts itself upon the pedestal
of power
its strategy of genetic
manipulation
takes on Mother Nature
and the final hour

its ultimate aim appears
world domination
at its heart is its own
power not of the soil
the creation of a system
of growth factors
and a termination too makes
the blood boil

survival of the land mass
sits beyond the realms of man
and corporations filled
with goons and dictators
are not a fan
of Nature, not where
the ultimate
it to control the way
the soil is made less fertile
and for that
the earth must pay

this isn’t how it happens
Monsanto and Dow
all the little farmers
were just compost for their plough
senators were bought off
and laws were changed and how
but at the end its Nature
its the world of higher things
beyond the individual
and that balance sheet of kings

perpetuity, the reigning
kingdom of us all
not even corporations
who may think they can just rule
the planet
their come uppence
is their arrogance for they
went about their programme
irresponsibly, and way

off course from the planet
and the super weeds, they came
an army of resistance
that their poison couldn’t tame
it couldn’t touch the army
but imbalanced and destroyed
the environment and Nature
was less than over joyed

Agent orange cleared the
Vietnamese jungles to the root
100 years of wondrous growth
was shaken by the brute
force that came to violate
the substance and the time
which took its toll on creation
and prevented the climb
in direct, opposition
to real growth and sustainability
and Nature took a prudent look
not liking what it in fact did see

and determined it was not a concept that ought
to be allowed
hidden as a consequence
a cloak and dagger shroud
recombitant bovine growth hormone
so negatively charged
with a profit related element
that has now kind of barged
in and caused great suffering
to the gentle dairy cow
and again our eternal mother
has to now exert more power

the factor far too obvious
financial wizardry
can never overcome
the power of the Natural World
the key
arrogance and ignorance
and Nature with the core
strength to back the principle
of, for, for evermore.
