Corporate thugs are everywhere
green wash to the fore
PR Dept’s inflated
but heartless to the core
aligned to chasing rodeos
where cowboys do their thing
shock the horses rope the calves
and wear their share of bling

Rodeo’s not the place to go
no not any more
its shocking horses whilst their waiting
so when they come through the door
their bucking like a jumping cracker
excitement for those who
paid the ticket price to see
action, and very few

go away disappointed
it happens all the while
horses with their broken legs
and calves too, how they rile
me when they do go crashing down
or headlong into some wall
with terrible consequences
for the horse and all
sponsoring rodeo is not a green event
if you need the sponsorship
give to someone green, its mean’t
and hang out in the organic store
or on the organic farm
where only fresh green foods are sold
and no one comes to harm.
