Trapping the critically endangered Sumatran Tigers in Muko Muko Indonesia

Vulgar, tasteless, low life
who value beauty less
than the filth that blocks
the gutters
truly to confess
at setting traps
in Muko Muko
for the Tigers who
are critically endangered
how we look down on you

Kerinci Seblat National Park
a prism full of light
where the Sumatran Tiger
roam
your morals just draw blight
into the equation
for trapping as you do
your maiming and your claiming
extinction, that’s my view

your Chinese masters
might reward you handsomely
with dollar bills that make
your wallet thick
but honestly
the evil you are doing
is making everyone around you sick

these are endangered souls
now at the crossroads
and you assassins from another place
slinking in the hollows
leaving your vile traps
taking out these lovelies
at a pace

as the great steel teeth
clamp
down on them and injure
them now so
if you look into their eyes
you can feel that heat
look and see and feel that inner glow

so to see you take such beauty
such rareness and just treat
it really as insignificant
you are less than the dirt under
their feet
and that you can claim
a big reward
for this evil that you do
will consign you to a painful
place where your rewards accrue
