A story about a Sea Wolf (Someone very close to my heart)

She was a inspired sea wolf
C wolf was her name
a beautiful creative soul
her one and only aim
to further her discoveries
for she had immense worth
being the apex predator
on this precious earth

she loved the sea
the frothy surf
the wet sand on her feet
she loved the taste of saltiness
and the freshest meat
carrion was not her thing
she had one cub, and he
was everything to her
and everything to me

I was so much older
but she cared,and she was good
we had love for each other
just because we could
when the morning began crisp and cool
and the sky was a bright blue
with just a liitle wind to coax
the branches what we’d do

is run down to the beach head
and frolic for a while
you’d notice her deportment
she moved with so much style
her eyes were bright
and beautiful
a stormy flash sometimes
and fire I see
and love I see
she is of our times

bounding through the tall grass
leaping over streams
Sea wolf is my wonderful companion
from my dreams
alert to every circumstance
she is what life’s about
I love her like I love the ground
she walks on
when we’re out
