and try to piece out why

Orangutan slaves are captured
from the canopy
and sent
into this miasma
this human gutter trade
that takes the wondrous primates
and puts them on parade
dresses them in boxing gear
and sticks them in some ring
to knock each others blocks off
to see who can be king

to know we reach these lower depths
of humanity, today
and with the higher primates
we begin to play
its sacrilege they had a bond
which is broken straight a way
it just shows me the extent and
lowering of standards
that now pray

out there in the universe
respect, where did it go
our arrogance so evident
how depravity did grow
these are respected primates
endangered in many ways
and we capture them
and enslave them
and drag them in a blaze
of hell fire to the bottom
of our pit and there they lie
