Plea of a baby wolf lets have some sanity so we can go forward

I am a wolf
yes that I am
I am a baby
that’s me
I live in the open
that’s where ofcourse
thats where tonight I must be
I can’t run with the pack
for I’m too slow
my legs are unstable
but I
one day will run alongside
my mother
and have the sense
and the eye

I can howl
in my way
I can jump
and I know
inside of me
I have that true wolf glow
I love my parents
and they love me
why do so many want me to be
I am part of creation
like they are, so why
Do they take it out on us
I don”t want to die

my parents work hard
there is no overkill
we love and we live
and hopefully will
always be roaming
our freedom is good
I am a baby doing
what babies should
