Foie Gras

I do think we’ve come far enough
Along the road, and we
Should ban foie gras, ban the gavarge
Force Feeding, tragically
Is not a natural way to treat
Ducks or Geese, and so
It just might have been many years
But now of course we know

Its inhumane to do this
Their sufferings are immense
Truly so called gastronomes
seem to lack some sense
The sense of looking after
A sentient being who
need not be tortured, its not right
its not the thing to do

Considering it a luxury
With Cognac or with prunes
Quince served up with rustic crusts
and wasabi drizzle tunes

I do think we’ve come far enough
along the road and we
Should ban this evil product now
for its just pure cruelty
