Funding going on in Universities
one wonders why and who believes
its right
to use a large proportion to
do animal experiments
nasty invasive surgery
the sight
of little cats with contraptions
fitted to their skulls
monitoring their brains
for me just isn’t right
its just too far
is this programme from the corporates
to me and many others
it does mar
other work that might be
more important
to me there’s nothing
as important as they are
this socially called research must take into account
the suffering that the animals
undergo
and this objective really
should be paramount
or cries from all of us are bound to grow

seeing cats with really dire
instrumentation fitted
I really question it, and say
this kind of work
should not be done at Madison
for me there is no reason
and no way
Peta has stepped up and is now calling
for boycotts and for petitions
which make sense
the work they clearly do
in the laboratories
are making and hearing, about it tense
I hope and would suggest that those
now doing this would cease if not be
stopped immediately
clearly they are well out of their
focus as everyone in their right
minds can now see
