will get
a rabbit out the garden
maybe it was your pet

of chewing on its thigh
or using its foot
on your key chain
no this is no lie

but fishes don’t have
fingers
shut up! and get them down
eggs from some vast factory
some where’s out of town
fish from vietnamese quagmire
bacon from some sow
who spent months in a gestation crate
with scabs on her, and how!

its all down to our parents
they gave us what we eat
I remember, yes I do how
I hated meat
or gristle and
fat and dripping
dripping I mean the name
something flipping dripping
that was its claim to fame

eat that sausage dad would say
bits of arse oles ear oles too
on the label it says pork
so get it down yer via your fork
all squashed into a roll of gut
