Fur doesn’t belong to you so why do you feel inclined to kill animals to wear it

Does fur help you to sing
you famous 4 or five
Does fur help you to see
I suppose, it keeps you warm
but then warm, you can be
there’s lots of man made fabrics
why do we need to kill
an innocent little creature
its blood why do we spill?
why do we let folk trap them
and an agonising death
as they try to get away
from those steel jaws
and fight for breath
bleeding like the clappers
inevitably it lays
down, its eyes close tightly
never again to raise
its head to see its family
its children ne’r again
to see its home, the forest
it now know’s dreadful pain
the pain of passing from this world
of leaving its friends behind
of dying from the exhaustion
of losing its sweet mind
murdered in cold blood in fact
and stripped of skin and hair
the brute who does this to them
clearly does not care
the tailors who weave all this pain
into the coats you wear
the evil and the blood and snot
yes my friends its there
each time you venture out
to show off, wse are part of you
all our pain and agony now permeates
and few
will realise the suffering and ever understand
that fur is cruel beyond all words
and to wear us is out of hand
and you have so much money
un yet still do not see
the pain the bloody cruelty that you inflict
on me
and other soulful creatures that happen
to have fur
but it doesn’t make you beautiful
for you never ever were!
