Why is it that the Japanese
insist on killing whales
They know deep down
from the minimata
what a sick reprise
hangs over the condition
Whale meat and Dolphin too
Is laced with real vile
chemicals
The  do
bad things to you
Un yet they still go killing
using Tsunami funds
To bolster the protection
Against Sea Shepherd and their
chums
Its not just about consuming
anymore
its loss of face
And the Japanese get hooked
up in a war
Really of their making
Of that now I am sure
And the whales are just
the filling in the sandwich
Packed with PCB’s and mercury
Thats why they are being hunted
and slaughtered more and more

Science is the Spratt to catch
the Mackeral
It saves their face
and it lets the rich blood flow
When they are killing whales
And seeing Sea Shephered in their wake
Its not that they want to eat them
Nothing now can make
Them stop in a good light for them
Its the rock and the hard place

But they might just go away
Perhaps if we ignored them
They’d be in a better place
And they could stop by their own means
and in so doing save their face
Its understanding people
Realizing how they tick
Cutting their nose off
to spite their face
Perhaps we have missed a trick
The Icelanders I understand feel similarly
About their whaling too
They resent the fact the foreigners
Tell them what to do
They also do not eat whales
There is no market there
But they want to be seen as
responsible not dictated to

I do find Whaling
and the killing of Dolphins
a terrible state of affairs
The fact they are loaded
with the direst of poisons
Require us to offer our prayers
To these wonderful ancient cetaceans
Who have to put up with shit
We dump in their wonderful oceans
An intelligence really unfit
For all species, now on this planet
Which is shared and therefore
we should be
More understanding of where we pollute
For we are, our own worst enemy
