The Japanese whalers have a lot to answer for

Minamata happened
Lots of souls were hurt
Lots of kids were damaged
Nobody was curt
Enough to bring the Corporates
Truthfully into line
Shellfish in that wondrous Bay
were poisoned
Were they fine?And nowadays Taiji’s dolphins
are riddled with the stuff
Methyl Mercury and PCB’s
have they not had enough!
of nightmares
But the Japanese are talking about face
To stop the slaughter means for them
It is the worst disgrace

And so despite the nature
of the flesh
Its labelled whale
The Public do not realise
God knows how the trail
ends for these poor dolphins
slaughtered at Tai Ji
Their blood stains rocks
and clearly shocks
The Japanese, easily

Minamata happened
And it will happen again
More children will perish
More will suffer pain
And all because the mercury
The PCB’s all high
The Dolphins need a break here
For many more will die
The evil that is Taiji
The Karma that is sure
Such agonising methods
And all this blood and gore
Attracting would be angels
And half the world around
We have to stop this slaughter
Or we’ll all be bloody drowned.
