Pigeons and water

The pigeons are mindful
Never aloof
They sit on my guttering
Under my roof
Pecking out moss
And letting it fall
On the windows below
Yes a wake up call

When The gutters are full up
The rain that was there
Has soaked up and dried
So They do seem to care
They love the fresh water
Filtered by the Moss
And if its bone dry
Well they do give a toss

Its because pf our laxity
Yes we’re remiss
They need to partake
Cool water is bliss
You can hear as it falls
Pitter Pat on the glass
Our Pigeons are helpful
You might say first class
