Snow

A covering fell out
of the sky
A counterpane so white
A colour wash of ermine
It just came with the night
The artist sprung its rough cast
Of diadems and we
Just found the glorious smother
On every single tree

Its outline and its silhouette
Framed rugged and raw
An evenness on branching
Harmonious and more
Alabaster marble
What was pure driven snow
A dawning still encased with light
An even whitewashed show

Beyond a rich penumbra
A vagueness followed through
A covering so beautiful
A truly external view
Within of course an intensity
Weathered and in tune
Orbs and optics winking blinking
And aspects of the Moon

A beautiful impression
Streams of consciousness
A great sense of awareness
A feeling we need bless
What is a deconstruction
A deliberative refrain
The assiduous reflection
On my frosty window pane.
