Thanks Karen

To walk lightly in the forest
Through the landscape that we share
All those natural forces
And of the wild folk that live there
The geographical energies
The magnetic spirit too
The wells the streams
Our collective dreams
It’s what we like to do
The trees the glowing sentinels
The plants and fungi too
The energy apparent
You can feel it and it’s true
Just tasting the air apparent
Absorbing the subtle scents
To know the vital uses
And sufficient common sense
To survive the lust of freedom
For cordage fire or food
Exalted by the energies
That the forest does exude

Poem to thank you
