The end of the harvest ( a reason to come back)

There is often a wide sheet
of blue in the sky
And the sun comes out after rain
and does dry
We see a few rainbows
and leaves falling down
And all kinds of colours
the great Gais’s gown

Swept on a breeze
so becoming she looks
With her first auburn hair
like you see in some books
with her potentiality
under the sun
Evolving beneath
our eyes as day is done

Copper and bronze are two colours we see
Beautiful orange
And silver a key
To unlock the crimsons the Reds and the hues
AUtumn’s in motion
As are my views
A magickal time
the end of the harvest
When the goddess will choose

And she will come down to
All women for she
Comes with the power
and the true potency
The pumpkins are swollen
like sun balls they roll
Spread a few oak leaves
For the apples have soul

Sprigs of green sage
and some nutmeg around
Incense a burning
the wheel turning sound
Orange and black candles
spread the altar and see
The veils growing thinner
where we have to be
Now on the Blower
to ancestors past
Some astral projection
let’s give it a blast

The end of the summer
and Atumn is here
The breezes are picking up
and the leaves clear
Dappling colours
rich picking will
Fly to the ground
in the windiest spill
SAmhaiwn at roll rights come folk let’s see
Those who past over before come and be
Among us their presence the coral on fire

The sandalwood filling our nostrils
And higher and higher
The gingerbread men
Pick up the apples
And just tell us when
one day we will pass over tearful and blue
One day I will open my eyes and see you
Again the horizon the Styx river wide
Just to see your face again shows that I died

And came back just to see you
Your long locks of hair
Those eyes so alluring
I was always aware
Of the darkness around me back there far away
Where the skies might have been blue
All through the day

Happy Samhain
My dearest
I missed you so much
A year on and no chores
I had to keep in touch
A great aberration
This roll rights affair
I had to come
back
Wanting you to be there
