Laos and the endangered species

The existence of wild nature
Is ever present here
In fact its overflowing
With an abundance thats is clear
Creation is the reason
Fundamentally
Man has remained kind here
The outcome we niw see

Is the wilderness is still there
Consequentially
The vigour and the dynamism
We can all still share
Unchartered rivers
Unclimbed mountains
Forests still intact
And all the myriad animals
Still living there in fact

A wonderland of potent force
Stalwart stout and strong
A luxuriance and lushness
As it has been all along
An amazing cornucopia
and a uberous display
That thrusts itself into the sky
Every single day

So much collaboration
And truthful synergy
Action and reaction
Such continuity
A depth of space
Far reaching and widespread
Everywhere is how it was
It we have to face

Nature is the mistress
The elemental soul
The universal sub crust
A so euphoric role
The animals that were placed there
Are still there to this day
Wonderful wild tigers
And of course their actual prey

Man has kept away
And by so doing we can see
How nature managed everything
So very perfectly
Humanity has shown us all
The error of his ways
Destruction of the means of life
That supports us all our days

Laos stood back for some reason
Luminaries they
View the viridescence
The colourful display
The richness of the vegetation
The abundance everywhere
The kaleidoscope of naturalness
And the purity of air

Its a revelation
An emanation there
Obvious and impressionable
The appearance of such care
A consciousness apparent
A sensorium of soul
Cerebral and abstract
Reflections are the goal

The total assiduity
And the thoroughness we see
Mindful and painstaking
Created lovingly
The mighty Mekong River
A giant to bestow
Its vast oaths if glory
As it rushes to and fro

Where in great living armies
Of fish feed and enjoy
The passion and the life force
That nature does employ
The people catch their bounty
Vast numbers for the pot
A prophecy of balances
And a fore glimpse of a lot

Hunters there are hunters
But they use a primitive bow
All fire arms are banned here
The living it is slow
And the light is really obvious
A rhapsody of sound
Dreams into delirium
The visionaries abound

Mythic even legendary
A world of all thats true
A very inventive people
Undisguised in what they do
Rules protecting wild life
Are not as enforced as they
Could be so the killings
Do go on each day

The people though apparently
Have that instinct to be aware
To not kate more than is needed
To be thankful and to care

They have a sense of purpose
They train their elephants and
Never use the bull hook
For they do understand
The need to use a calm voice
To respect and use great care
Phajan is outlawed in Laos
For the animals that are there

the Elephant is loved by them
Though the wild souls truly are
Wild and are best left to their resources
For they star
In the forest as the leads
Some 500 or so
They do not tolerate people
Which is best we know
