The solstice fire

That ebony sky
Welcomes the light
The winter solstice
Invites the light
Lets start a fire
With some old dead wood
Lets dedicate
Infinite light
Which we should

Be coming soon
To bless the land
An in the fire
Lets understand
There are dreams to be had
We can, feel the glow
The tales of the forest
From long long ago

The blessed branches
Drank in the air
Supped up the raindrops
That often fell there
That cocktail of nature
Where wild men have trod
Where the fox and the rabbit
Prayed to their god

Watch as the flames
Flicker brightly and high
Consuming the log
And parts of the sky
All those rings from the years
It had struggled to be
Higher than most
This wonderful tree

And now in our fire
Its burns very bright
And soon ŵe shall see it
The majestic light
The aroma of fruits
The colour the flame
And the dreams to enhance mine
You got it the same

Yes I ‘m alone
Dreaming and faces I see
i have sown
Seeds in my consciousness
So profoundly
Visualisation
Its coming its here
Complete devotion
And yuletide cheer
