Kavaan

This Hopelessness is terrible
Its weakening as we
Suffer so much agony
Psychologically
The despondency one suffers
Each counsel of despair
The enslavement by the masses
All seemingly unaware

Its undignified and tasteless
To be kept inside a zoo
No exercise no trees no plants
Nothing one can do
But be chained tight without movement
A lost soul tethered fast
Dreary and prosaic
Exempt from heaven’s blast

Murgazar zoo to be shackled there
Is uninteresting, and we
Shed a lot of flowing tears
That everyone can see
The sorrow of rhe relatives
Chained up and waving free
Rocking like a sapling in a storm
Effectively
Pathetic and tear jerking
Such a sob story it be

Thirty years alone in life
Haggard and careworn
Discountenanced and crestfallen
Since the misery of being born
Mortification at every turn
Perhaps a massive thorn
In anyones side purposefully
Disillusioned by it all
Feeling in a sorry state
Half driven up the wall

Locked with an inner madness
A frustration one can’t bear
A twinge and stab a discomfort
That nobody wants to share
30 years of imprisonment
In solitary as well
In a tribulation
Of vexation and despair

Nothing to wet
ones whistle
A Temper rising through
Melancholia apparent
Doing what we do
Maintaining one’s gravity
Ponderous and sluggish
And steeped in banality

Samar Khan went to the zoo
And noticed Kavaan there
Clearly beginning to breakdown
The abuse just wasn’t fair
The loathing and unfeeling
The disfavour and the shame
Incurring the depression
As all part of the game
