Canada

Canada, you make me sick

of all the places in the world

what you do to baby seals

whose wild lives just were hurled

into your domain, alas

for reasons who can tell

they probably thought it Paradise

then realized the hell

no god would ever make this vital

mistake anywhere

but clearly someone fucked up

and  so we see despair

the tiniest of babies

innocently  they die

no one in their right minds

seeing this won’t cry

the infamy is so grave

the waste of true creation

and it is on your bloody heads

on Canada the nation

who lives there must be feeling

nauseous, for they

could not abide such savagery

not now, not any day

it turns the strongest stomach

whatever god there be

must look down on these

babies

and cry incessantly

Peter Baldwin called this protest

and its coming soon

its something that’s so evil

underneath the moon

I sink onto my knees tonight

and just try to explain

the agony, the darkness

the terror and the pain

Canada is clearly lost

its people sleeping too

to let an administration

do now what they do

is tantamount to shocking

to not take heed and try

and protest and just do something

to prevent those who now die

the bloody ice trails

smothered in sinew how can we

sit back in a true sense

and accept this tragedy

400,000 babies a holocaust

this year

how can we sit and watch it

and not realize the fear

the emotion and the notion

that our government have gone

completely bloody insane

the light has never shone

never in a month of sunday’s

the seals are doomed for sure

but Canada has a karmic debt

which it wants to overdraw

to the tune of 400,000

babies,  and it will

be drenched in blood and guts and snot

forever and until

the killing stops completely

for Canada’s so wrong

so evil and so arrogant

and has been all along
