sea slaves (the orca’s who are stolen from the ocean to live in concrete tanks as unpaid slaves)

For the life of me
I cannot come to terms
with who is right
to plunder the great oceans
and by switching off the light
of those who live there
if its right
one has to ask oneself
the heartfelt question why
they have the right to steal us
and still feel very high
and mighty and then hoodwink
the people
who then buy
into what they are doing
for ignorantly they feel
their families can be entertained
with the slaves that must conceal
what is their inner tragedy
their total loss of space
the ocean for a concrete tank
emotions without trace
and then be trained by numb skulls
to do the
mundane tricks
something we do swimming backwards
it does get on our wicks
its burning in our bodies
the ignorance we see
killing trainers isn’t what we do
and just to be
imprisoned in this ghastly soup
morning noon and night
when we should be in the ocean
where we can disappear from sight
travelling down to vast depths
exploring as we go
into the realms where Orca’s
wild sweet spirits flow
