To be kind we must care for little animals ( they are very fragile)

Giving a beautiful bunny
to 5 screaming kids who don’t know
the parents are daft
and uncaring
Dad tossed the bunny and laughed
it fell on the floor and Tommy
then threw it to Jane
and Jane gave it to Rock
and Rock held it tight
till his fingers went white
and Joey he knew what to do
in the heat of the car
on that hot summers day
with Dad at the wheel
and Mum she did say
why did you buy it
its not really fair
a half an hour later
the purest despair

how true was that statement
bothered and hot
shocked at the treatment
it died on the spot
the vet couldn’t save her
the shock was too dire
sweet little animals
cannot perspire
give them a space
and give them some air
don’t play in the car
don’t try and share
they are real fragile
so just leave them there
in their hutch at home
