Lucy the prototype Doll does she really need Fur to make her appear beautiful? does she?

Responsibility
begins with You
Designer
tell me, we
must think about the new doll
and what she needs to be
Does she need the skin of a poor
soul trapped and skinned
who died in abject agony
without a second wind
no sympathy, no love
just murdered on a hook
do we need to prolong that evil
lets now have a look
do we tell our little one’s
which is what we do
slaughter little animals
to make our dreams come true
Lucy can be beautiful
as every child will see
imagination plays a part
in growing up and we
must step up to the plate and say
fur coats should never be
used on dolls not any dolls
especially Lucy
the prototype creates in souls
a need for so often we
wear the clothes our dollies
wore and that just cannot be

responsibility
for life in many ways Designer
it is in your hands
you could continue the evil
and those frightening plans
or you could simply change the garment
be ethically aware
perhaps a nice hemp jacket
the naturalness to share
Lucy would be lovely
and thoughtful for children to adore
not guilty of the horrors
that her mother wore before
