Apart from the human being do other species grieve ( not my question but I will answer it)

Its not whether
that’s an arrogance
no human should perceive
all mammals love their offspring
and for them are bound to grieve

they carry their own footprint
on into beyond
and its clearly thus apparent
its how we all respond

Don’t talk to me of whether
its very clear that we
are the least informed
of the earthlings now so actually

for we stand tall
and our bubble
means anything outside
is labelled as not sentient
as we then
run and hide

when we kill as we do
everything around
we forget the purity
the thoughts that were profound

every species has them
and is open to the call
do other species grieve
of course yes ofcourse all

they do and for forever they
understand the need
is there
for otherwise decay
sets in and rots the seed

and as the the spirit
crumbles
as it will surely do
a species too will crumble
