Women in India

It cuts me up
to know this
one in 4 girls will
be dead before they are 4 years old
and that my dears is still
a fact for girls
are trafficked, abused and killed, to me
we must stand up for women
and do it spontaneously
its not enough to turn away
or pay lip service
or strike
a world without its women
is a world I wouldn’t like
