Dolgellau.(Dol-geth-La i)

The Cadar Idris Mountain
Looks down upon the town
So many, stone buildings
Garnered as a gown
Snowdonia apparent
Indulging in such thrills
Such beauty is beyond imagination
All those hills

Those lakes
Those
Crystal waterfalls
And beautiful rivers too
Sheep are dotted everywhere
From my room there’s a view
The Cambrian range
My eyes can feast
On what is exceptionality
So much to take into one’s soul
And it’s mining history.

Awelfa sits upon a ridge
In it’s lifetime stare
Once a railways managers house
High on a hill we share
An outlook of such symmetry
Auspicious through and through
A glimmering ambition
Of the ancient streets
Held true.
