Milk from plants

Proliferation
In every store
Cartons and cartons
More and more
Calves still get it
Their mothers do
Offer the udder
Good and true

Humane beings
Taste and see
The soya bean
The rice it be
The almond the hazel
The coconut
Porridge oats The cashew glut
Hemp perhaps
I canna say
Milk drinking
Leaves me in dismay

From the infant stage
When we learn to chew
Cold clean water
Is best for you
These so called plant milks
Best you try
The real thing
And I wonder why

Proliferation day and night
On these
Processed drinks
for me
arn’t right
We don’t need milk
No not at all
Only humanity
Believes the stall
Is where our nutrition stems from still

Drink more fresh filtered water hot and cold
And leave these processed energy sapping
So called milks alone.
