Is it just for show
Why wax the lemons anyway
It prolongs shelf life and
Costs a little more I think
So now you understand

The best are the organic ones
No wax at all on those
If you are juicing it doesn’t matter
But eating the rind
Suppose
Shellac or beeswax would upset
Vegans all these traps
Set fair to upset you
Some polyethylene
Yes chaps
And lasses we must realise
Prices can reflect
Profit due to longer dates
So from now on in elect

Organic if you can afford
Then use the peel yes dry
Keep it as a flavouring
On the best fruit then rely.
