The day of the Horse
Abused we know
Racing jumping and the rest
Often put on show
Made to change their natural gait
Made to work and drive
Ancillary to danger
And many do not survive
Man is anything but kind
To horses as we know
Racing brace the obvious
To the knackers yard some go
It’s good they have a day
They really need a life
We use and we so abuse them
