Dairies

Waterfalls of tears
Fill the rivers up for years
So many little calves
Have lost their way
Mooing all the day
In their truly poignant way
Bound up in the dairies
Constantly

Bloodied hung upon a nail
Left behind a bloody trail
Sinew guts and broken bones
And quietly all the moans and groans
It is hard to sleep at night
All the calves know it ain’t right
Bound up in the dairies
Permanently
