A sunny day
No waves about
The rubber boats
Be in no doubt
Are on their way
To UK Shore
Mostly men
Whose keeping score
Not all of them
Are picked up some
Scarper rapidly
Those that come
Many without papers they
Passports and visas
They chucked away
Lovely hotels
Have all been used
The rooms no doubt being abused
Who they are
From whence they came
Nobody now wants the blame
Motels army barracks
They
are being housed
Far away
Outside our towns
Fed and kept
Health checks
The government adept
Now a big barge
At Portand seems
Not to occupy
Many dreams
Accomodation for 500
Who
Will enjoy the Briney
Yes it’s true
Many are not refugees
Just migrants
When we are on our knees
Homeless veterans in the street
Arrested sworn out
Who will greet
Our own people
Very few
Our tax payers
What we do
Is help to pay
For all these men
And the criminal gangs
They know when
They are rolling in loads of dough
Really they just ought to go
Back to where they came from and
Realise and understand
