a chicken’s life

The agony they are feeling
The torment and the pain
Upset by the attitude
Farmers are insane
Charging the would be innocent
With a life of pure deceit
Watching them crumble before your eyes
And become a piece of meat
Where maggots chose to burrow
Such ugliness presents
A life we should have cherished
Instead it made no sense.
