Risso’s

Everything about the cove

at Taiji sickened me

those bloody Japanese fishermen

their injustice all could see

mischevious and injurious

iniquitous and sad

a crime against the goddess

We watched  them it was  bad

we need recriminations

carping niggling cries

one after  another these beautiful souls

it just mystifies

the angels all about us

castigated they

were broken slashed and tearful

at the butt end of the day

a dishonesty a racket

to set before a king

ignoble and intriguing

what this all did bring

was torture and great suffering

and their innards they did  sling

all crushed up and in the ocean

No more would they sing.
