A couple of days after the heatwave

Puffy clouds in a sea of blue

a stillness really breaking through

The rustling copper leaves where light

darkens and lightens  however slight

i love the sunlight drawing hue

the artistry that just peeps through

a lattice effect on the higher boughs

and a strong rich gloss creative powers

waving away  in a primitive stare

Whenever  I look it’s always there
