Kidnapped

Indonesia my home
Among the mangroves
On the coast
Twas there they came Those bastards
That really I hate most
I ended up as an exhibit
Taunted every day
Made to feel embarrassed
In an extraordinary way

Borneo my homeland
An old world monkey who
Is shipped off in some rotten crate
And arrives, at your zoo
To end my days as lonely
As any soul can be
Broken and feeling abused
That really describes me

Sitting in a forest
With fruits and blossoms where
All of us enjoy the fruits of heaven
So aware
To say I enjoyed my capture i really never did
The loggers and the squalor
were really in a bid to clear
The surrounding areas
And leave the country bare
And Now I am an exhibit
And nothing about that is fair

I am a proboscis monkey
My pain I am sure you can see
You pay your Money you buy Your ticket
And my life is Sold for free
This is What you show your kids
Old world monkeys lives don’t matter
Well let me tell you all of you
It isn’t valid patter

Its cruel its such severity
Hurtful persecution
Your bitter pill I taste it
Everyday and I’m no fitter
I so regret the size of debt
My birth right gave to me
And I am homesick and so very sad
And I miss my family
