Hong  Kong Customs  have just seized
shark fins  from Ecuador
all labelled in Spanish
clearly there is a war
going on and predator sharks
are being murdered still
thresher sharks and silky sharks
their blood they surely spill
the irreverence of  rogue elements
the absolute contempt
at least  38000 souls
and  we should we pre-empt
the suffering  caused to so many
the puerility
what is  unconscientiousness
and venality
the imbalances predator /prey
its shocking to assume
the environment is suffering
shock and awe and gloom
 
all those beautiful endangered souls
each one tortured so
screaming in their soul urge
what is this shameful  blow
to sharks around the oceans
for some obnoxious soup
for snooty ignorant Chinese 
this sticky tasteless goop
the aiding and abetting
the criminality
the double dealing double crossing
 vile bumanity
corrupt and needing prison
10 years is far too low
10 million dollars  fine
hard labour  now I know
 
they are wicked 
and so sinful
such amorality
the slippery slope to hell
its an enormity
miscreants that’s all they are
the whole illegal chain
These monsters should be apprehended
and  not be let out again
 
when convicted 
show Their faces all around the world
feed  them  to the a piranha
their miserable bodies burled
into  that dark maelstrom
let then  share the pain
all those sharks just slaughtered
