Does it take a child
To teach us
Whose prepared to live without
The need to consume that which brings him joy
The animals around him
Who quietly go about
Living as they were born to
Something we should not doubt
Does it take a tuna melt
Or a scolding from a mob
To influence or change our minds
When many more will sob
To see the tuna fighting
In the seine net in the sea
Starved of air and a future
A bit like you and me
No the child is just an angel
For the many left behind
To shout out loud and to whisper
To reach all of mankind
A story of the moment
When jack was forced to feel
The tuna melt the message dealt
A blow that ofcourse was real
DEAR Jack as a vegan for some 50 years almost
It was great to hear of your courage
In the face of the ignorant.
