Baldivis and the kangaroos

Spatial had put out a lengthy statement
The study relating to the kangaroos
In the way of the building at the Paramount Estate
Which clearly for the developers is bad news
Opening up the bush lands laying concrete
Semi rural living is the thing
And Spatial are clearly building houses
And the wild life clearly seeing them
Does bring
A certain je ne sais quoi
For Kangaroos are wild
But if they only could be shot
It could all be reconciled
We could then develop more
Cull is the word they use
Actually its murder mate
And thats just awful news!

For zoologists and ecologists
To believe that murdering souls
Is good because they are in the way
Of development new roles
To me is somewhat edgy
People should desire
Semi rural locations
And share somehow, I tire
Of those that want it both ways
Wild life just on tap
When you choose to see it
Its there
All this is crap!

Don’t move into the semi rural areas
I say
Stop building laying down the concrete
Or its true we pay
And already at the car park
A sink hole has become
A problem and more problems
Yes they will see some

Nature is a miracle worker
The environments create
Life forms and to murder them
At an alarming rate
And eat them eat the wild life
Is just going too far
Its unbalanced its so selfish
To rape and literally scar

The bush lands all those creatures
The footprints from before
Wild souls we are not aware of
Perish as we ignore
Human beings need to be humane
In what they do
And for spatial to have wanted
To shoot them yes its true
Shoot on site blokes with rifles
Good job someone said
Leave the bloody Roo’s alone
Once they are dead they are dead

AUstralia has to come to terms
With its situation here
Semi rural habitats
Must not be huge its clear
Share and share alike
Rural has to be
Equal for the wild life
And the housing thats the key

Stretching towns into the bush
And expecting them to grow
And murder all the wild life
All the natural flow
Of life install the arrogance
The city wallers sense
Of killing off the wildlife
Making then past tense

Then putting up a concrete zoo
With wild souls in their cages
Money grabbing prison farms
We have seen them down the ages
Manipulating animals moving them away
From where we can then walk our dogs
And let our children play.

But then what of the snakes and spiders
Goannas and the rest
Crocs and all the other nasties
Yes they are going to test
All the human city dwellers
Possibly thats so
But gradually with pest control
At work they all will go

And then ofcourse its bumans
Killing each other there
But then the words not culling
Its killing its despair
As the homes become more dusty
Then the people will agree
How Australia has sunk in terms
Of its biodiversity

Next poem wil be about the Canberra cull
And how the ACT Supreme court jusge has ruled it to be
Unlawful in 2015
1600 kangaroo’s murdered karma and all that
