Hachiko

The snowy brush
the railway track
cold lifeless nights of awe
steathily he sits and waits
outside his masters door
The Christmas Trees
were decked with lights
as the snow fell down
so cold
eyes closed, he lay their dreaming
of when he was less old
frost caked in his fur
and only memories left
of when
his master took him to the
forest
it must have been
some 10
years ago
he jumped and played
and chased
but now all alone
since his master died alas
Hachiko he had known
such love but now
there was no one
and he was all alone
freezing in the garden
where his memories were sown
He died there
his long wait came to an end
that snowy night
when all the trees were decked
with bells, and beautiful moonlight
