Yule logs

The log known as the Yule Log
Always needs to be
Gifted never ever bought
And importantly
Each years log needs a slow burn
Of, ofcourse 12 days
Put out on the 12th and saved
When its then worthy of praise

The ash saved from the burning
Is used exclusively
at Springtime
Mixed with the new seeds
For that Will guarantee
Good harvest in the fields I’m sure
Then save the log for you
Are Ready for the following year
knowing what to do

Each year’s log lights the present yule
A connection thus is made
The magic of togetherness
Where advantages are laid
The warmth of human kindness
And the evergreen design
To symbolize rich harvests
For The Spirits down the line
