Billy barr snow man

GOthic Colorado
An old mining place
And he is the only inhabitant
And that is by Gods grace
He moved some 4o years ago
From Trention so they say
And lives in this old cottage
He helped to build
That day

The skies out here are deep blue
The mountains tipped with snow
Everywhere around his place
Its thick as well we know
Billy loves the woods
The peacefulness the cold terrain
He drinks his tea records the snow
And drinks his tea again
He likes a spot of cricket
And keep his white hair long
He also sports a curly beard
And feels he does belong

He taught hinself to ski a bit
And to more carefully fall
Taught himself to survive out here
Where there is no one at all
Eternity is everywhere
And his philosopy
Is to rest and do his best
His actuality

You could say he is stubborn
But he is still a happy man
Who is alone in the plot he had sown
For 40 years, his plan
He studies snow the depth the height
The composition too
And records it in his day book
As a scientist might do

He has some help with instruments
He likes to light his fire
Sits around the hearth and drinks his tea
He is higher
Up the joyful ladder
Doing things he likes to do
Billy barr is gothics star
A snowman good and true
