Our “lily”

chartreuse a green
A sweet refrain
A softness
Falling with the rain
An impulse
A perception, she
And so much serendipity

lily is a revelation
That the best of eyes can see
An oracle a seer
A notion
Thats so clear
A harbinger
Such fluency
Such elegance
And clarity

Rythmic in her dance of fae
Her little voice gives her away
Hush to the night
Its in her gaze
Her soberness
Her myriad ways

Her self control
Her feral path
To forests where
Unpampered
she melts
In the air

A sylph whose silence
Solicits calm
And provides an aura
ne’er to harm
A peaceful relevance
Now prevails
For she is the queen
Of the stripy tails

She sits alone on the old wood store
In her heart she is very sure
It is really extra peaceful there
Where she sees so much
And remains in touch
With all she loves
For she knows we care
And we know that she’s is so aware
