The rally for the Dolphins and Cetaceans in London yesterday

Hertfordshire was clad in snow
As off to London we did go
Our posters vibrant
Our hearts alive
With a single purpose
To together strive

To remind the public in
Trafalgar Square
That we were coming together there
With Nelson looking towards Big Ben
We marched and chanted all
Knowing when

From Cavendish Square
We felt the joy
Our hearts were one
We did employ
The camaraderie of the day
Full of verve
Along the way

In the sunshine
In the cold
All of us some young some old
All for the angels of the sea
Reminding folk to set them free

To stop the slaughter in the water
To really let them be
Lots of people saw us
They stood and watched as we
Took the dolphins spirit
And went with it to free

Them from the evil grasp
Of those Taiji fishermen who
Dare to torture and slaughter pods
And violate It’s true
And they are really trying
To save each other they do
Stay back they are courageous
To whatever does accrue

They pay the price
They suffer
They cry out every day
Until the angels are hauled aboard
For alas that is the way

20,000 Dolphins die in the bloody sea
In Chiba
And in Hokkaido
In Iwate

Trapped in some dire
System some speared by hand
And they
In Miyagi and Okinawa
All of them do pay

Taiji is the most infamous
In Wakayama,we
See the Blue Cove turn red
From blood and sinew, and for me
The true vile Japanese spirit is blatant
For they stab a metal pole
Into their neck and plug it
That is every soul

Who cries out to their goddess
As internally they bleed
As a plug is hammered into the wound
So the discharge doesn’t feed
Out into the water
Where the cameras could see
The cove a soup of flesh and blood
Where the angels had swum free

The Japanese won’t hear their cries
For most of them are dead
From the neck up
From the waist down
Yes that’s what I said

Futo stopped it years ago
They hated what they did
Where formerly they slashed
Their heads off really in a bid

To kill the Dolphin angels
As quickly as they could
But even the Japanese themselves
Just did not feel good

In 20 years 400,000 cetaceans
Have been killed
In Japanese waters so much blood
And snot and sinew spilled
So much pain and agony
So much evil, they
Talk of bloody culture and
Tradition whilst they pray

Mercury,methyl mercury,cadmium
DDT and the fishermans union earning
For each Dolphin that they see and
Catch and flog to Sea World
It’s corruption and it’s high
32,000 dollars so do not believe their lie

And very few Dolphins last the course
Wherever they are sent
Made to live in filthy tanks
Because of the extent
Of terrible conditions
They get lesions and they die
And reality shows
That the Bottle nose
Cannot stand this which is why

They will die rather than be imprisoned
As slaves of the sicko fools
Who pay to see them leap through hoops
Of fire against the rules
Of freedom Dolphins do expect
100 miles a day
Beside their mothers
Sisters and brothers
In their world of play

Taiji an ugly sordid place
Really of ill repute
They slaughter our children in the sea
Cut them to their root
Violate their being
With spiteful barbarity
They are a bunch of sadists
Who expose such savagery

Their truculence and brutality
On the sweet angelic team
Of thinking feeling animals
They malign them it does seem
They display the worst intention
Such wishful baleful fools
Intolerant of nature
As collective hearts
Are tools

Each unamiable suggestion
And ungenerous regard
Their pitiless and satanic soul
Is altogether hard
Abuse it’s strangely avid
Threateningly so
So devoid of sympathy
As onwards they now go

Our march our rally yesterday
Our celebration shows
Our posters and our vibrancy
Underneath the nose
Of tourists out in Trafalgar Square
Amongst the performers, who
Got a slice of Dolphin Love
From all of us right through

The speakers how they vented
Their spleens and hearts again
We Were broken by the passion
All feeling the Dolphin’s pain
Knowing the Dolphins agony
Their lamentation for
Not only their own species
But the Japanese at war

The hinderer the spoiler
The murderer the beast
Who after slaughtering the whole pod
They just sit down and feast
On angels flesh plug ugly
No empathy have they
A flea has more compassion
For it’s victims anyway

In silence then remembering
How beautiful they be
Their wonderful persuasion
And where we had to be
Together In this struggle
To stand beside them they
Share their grief and wisdom
In their world of love and play
