Indignation

Elephants have amazing brains

and memories to match

and many are resentful

and no doubt reach a patch

within their psyche that explodes

at certain times to show

their wildness and their impatience

they get enraged you know

their heritage is wildness

perhaps the wildest soul

few enemies to speak of

but man who takes the role

of master from an early age

to break the spirit and

try to destroy psychic strength

but fails to understand

there will come a time

when this bold great beast

will not lay down and be

tortured and made to do things

when it once was free

to roam where ere it wanted

to do what ere it will

when you beat an elephant

your blood its going to spill

man unkind degenerates

and with arrogance becomes

haughty in his demeanour

and, that about sums

up his bloody downfall

for the Elephant he knows

he senses how it rankles him

and his irritation grows

and in this case I am  referring to

the handler was killed

and the tourists he was carrying

were clearly very chilled

trekking out in Thailand

these Russian’s clearly found

that the wild souls get their  urges

which should not astound

perhaps they ‘will be more careful

that they too could have been

killed but it was clear the animal

wasn’t wholly mean

hejust took out his handler

crushed him on the floor

elephants never,  ever forget

and the payback is for sure

of course it is unfortunate

death is final, and we

never expect it to happen

but it does for karma can be

the balance has to be redressed

for all wild souls take the hits

and it all builds up which is the way

and that’s just where it sits

one day it may dawn on man

that elephants should never be

engaged in trekking tourists

and broken painfully
