Cutting off the clitoris

and external genitalia

sewing up the vagina

to overtly reduce desire

this is circumcision

builds up such derision

young women face the terror

and the peril which is dire

with razor blades and broken glass

try to imagine this

think about it carefully

eyes watering

heart thumping

how can this be bliss

lead to strength and ardour

take away a women’s right

to pleasure

it gets harder

to imagine

how the women feels

how frustrated she

becomes in times of pleasure

to feel little sexually

its against the law to do it

but still it does go on

a women should now have the right

to say no

and live upon

this earth her naturalness  to be

allowed to experience the sensation

of pure ecstasy
