Spring well  Bay and Corbetts

two horses both have died

at Cheltenham

the races

Brace yourself

who lied

this so called sport of

kings and queens

and gambling men of old

trained up to the tethers

standing in the cold

made to race for glory

to feel the whip and run

eight years old

both standing bold

but fell,

their race  was done

they both woke up that morning

and took the fall and died

two splendid horses running hard

now of course denied

their freedom

they are heaven bound

racing,

took its toll

two gloriously  beautiful horses

died
