Blinded ignorance

Eyeblation can you imagine
Humanities ignorant view
Of the need to render a creature blind
Seemingly it’s true
A shrimp or prawn goes through the hoop
Such suffering abroad
One has to suffer dreadfully
At a price, who can afford
