Its screams were heard in heaven

It’s screams were heard in Heaven
A little fox who cared
He loved his life within the earth
And was sad he had not been spared
He loved his lovely vixen mum
And his dad was very kind
And now he was gone forever
No one would ever find

Even his little shadow
Headless he had become
Tossed onto the busy road
By a terrierman a dumb
arse
With even less reason
To knowingly believe
That because the hunt
Had achieved this
My family they would grieve

It’s true we are just animals
We have hearts and souls
We cry and we die
We love life
We have our Distinct roles
In the forest in the family
And now all that is gone
I of course have met my maker
Life for me one con

Huntsmen ride their horses
Their horses really they
Hate the thought they are chasing us
Around the place all day
Slopping through the mud piles
Being scratched and torn
Running to catch us foxes
Our crime just to be born

Terrier men breed terriers
Dogs that are made to chase
Wild brethren they just hate that
The bloody human race
Arrogantly brainwash terriers
Hounds and sadly they
Run around the forest
After us
Now every day.

If only these hunts were closed down and shut up for ever
