A 12 year lifespan
A tree cutting arborist
Just which really they can

Loving the aspen. The willow as well
High carbohydrates
So I hear tell
Essential fats
Which helps them survive
Wetland creation
When they are alive

Nutritious bark
And inner wood layers
More easily peelable
And they are stayers
Around a vicinity
Doing their thing
Water purification
To the countrysides bring

Their magical intent
Marvellously they
Provide for the others
Most every day
Gnawing the wood
It’s their desire
And man will abuse them
