Cornelius

Wisconsin National Primate research Centre
Where suffering is guaranteed

Cornelius a primate
A forest dwelling ape
Born into persecution
Every kind of rape
Operation
Infection
Even electric shocks
Terrorised
Day and night
Subjected to knocks
Bruises and lacerations
Isolated he
Has not hung to play with
Just sits unhappily
Staring at the ceiling
Uneasy as can be
Joyless and dejected
Wretched misery
Suffering melancholia
Downhearted and gloomy

Given Dengue Fever
Imagine that will you
These white coated operatives
Scumbags what they do
Frighten him with snakes
Steal his precious sperm
It’s curiosity driven
Every sort of germ
They ply him with and watch his grief
Honest it’s beyond belief what man will do to innocence
Breath the spirit
Leave him tense Feed him with monotony
These killjoy creating misery
And ugly haggard countenance
Poor Cornelius has no chance
His fragile body
Hopelessly
Defeated such despondency
He a interesting primate who
Has become forlorn his whole life through
Inconsolable
Drenched with fear
Dread and terror
It is clear

All he sees is blankness
And irreverence to understand
His antipathy each loathing hour
Living with hatred actually now
